Mount Qaf | کوهِ قاف

Paper Casting| 2025

In Persian mythology, Qaf is the farthest, most unreachable mountain—a threshold between the known and the unknown. By casting the word itself into paper fragments, I recreate this imagined place while emphasizing its fragility, weight, and portability. The work becomes both a personal geography and a meditation on longing, distance, and the shifting idea of home.
